We love custom jewelry at Timothy’s! Having the opportunity to share in the joy and excitement of a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece with a customer is very special to all of us at Timothy’s Fine Jewelry. The personal involvement taken to create a custom piece starts with a customer’s expression of what they want in jewelry. We then help in developing those ideas into a drawing. Those rough sketches are then sent to one of our talented jewelry design artists Joe Schmid, he then draws a picture to scale of the jewelry piece of those customer’s ideas. Once, a customer approves the picture Joe has drawn, he then creates a wax model of the jewelry piece. Once a customer is satisfied with the wax model, Joe will then cast the metal and set any stones that may be incorporated into the jewelry piece. Another form of custom is done all in-house with our very creative Chris Brandt, our metalsmith. With our wide variety of diamonds, colored stones, and pearls, she can create any form of necklace, bracelet, or ring to your specific wants.
